Key Responsibilities
Develop and administer ACVB’s local, national and international media relations program. Devise media itineraries and accompany delegates to promote Anchorage. Fact checking and interviewing. Host media. Weekend and evening work involved. Create annual reports, news releases, brochures, advertisements, newsletters, “canned” stories and fact sheets. Solicit writers/magazines to visit Anchorage. Pitch story ideas and angles to publications and writers. Act as liaison for media and potential members regarding tourism statistics and economic impact.
Qualifications
Completion of a four year degree in Journalism/Communications or similar and at least three years of relevant experience. Ability to write, edit, and proof materials. Excellent oral communication skills and ability to speak one-on-one or to groups of media, members, travel writers and staff. Ability to travel and flexibility in managing multiple projects.

Qualifications: Completion of a four year marketing degree and/or four to six years of relevant experience. At least four years of website management and development experience. Creative abilities that allow for feedback on design, layout, functionality, audience, and success rate. Working knowledge of database management. Proficiency with Macintosh operating system and hands on experience using Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Golive, Dreamweaver, Flash, HTML Nucleus publishing preferred.

Xperience Alaska is an inbound tour operator marketing Alaska and the Yukon in Italy. We are a very small, privately-owned company based in Anchorage since 1994. We mostly work with Italian tour operators and travel agencies.
We have the present position open: Reservation Agent, full time Now - End August. Experience in the Alaska travel industry beneficial but not required. At least 1 year progressive office experience.
Professionalism a must. Minimum education: High school degree required, some college preferred.
Must have computer skills, basic MS office programs (word, excel, outlook).

Routinely drives a motorcoach and provides narrated tours. Provides customer boarding and disembarking assistance; handles luggage. Assists in performing basic motorcoach maintenance and mechanical duties.
High school diploma or equivalent. 1 year experience involving customer service. Current, valid CDL is required (may be obtained through Company training course). Current, valid Alaska driver’s license, with a clean driving record is required. Minimum age of 21 is required.
